Emojis are the perfect way to grab attention to pressing messages, which individuals might overlook otherwise. First, join a Google Meet session that you are hosting. Remember, to make use of this feature you must be a host of the meeting.
After joining the session, make your way to the host settings of the meeting. To get to the host settings, click the “Meeting safety” button located on the bottom right-hand side of your screen.
A popup will appear on the right-hand side of your screen with options and settings. From these settings click on the “send chat messages” button to disable the chat feature.
Part 8: How to Retrieve Google Meet Chat History?
Unlike Google Hangouts, individuals cannot retrieve chats on Google Meet. Once the call has ended the chat is automatically deleted. Unless the video meeting is recorded with a Google Workspace account, the chat in Google Meet is archived.
